Hypnotism is the art of entering into trance. Trance is any altered state induced by suggestion.

Hypnosis is a familiar, natural state, it is encountered when returning to waking state from sleep (hypnopompic) and when entering sleep (hypnogogic).

It is a ‘Do With’ process and not a ‘Do To’ process. You, the client, can come out of or go into hypnosis any time that you wish.

During a hypnotherapy session, you are guided through a process to induce a trance-like state that helps you focus your mind, respond more readily to suggestions, and become deeply relaxed. Hypnotherapy utilizes the heightened awareness of the hypnotic state to help you focus on a problem more deeply.

Hypnotherapy can be used for many issues. It can help with some symptoms of menopause such as sleep, anxiety, overwhelm, hot flushes and brain fog. It also can have amazing results for weight management including the emotional issues that can sabotage weight control.
